Welcome to our newest members, Laura Troha and
“Tank” Raupach. They have been attending services for quite
a while, and we are overjoyed they have decided to become
members of our church family!
If you are willing to be placed on the ballot to service on either
Church Council or the Board of Managers, please contact
the church office. This is an excellent opportunity to learn
about the inner workings to keep our church flourishing.
The NALC has published both Lenten and Easter
Devotionals. Because of the length of the devotionals, we
will not be placing them in the church. If you would like a
copy, please call the church oce and we will be happy to
print a copy for you.
We will once again be having the annual Easter Breakfast
on Sunday, March 31, 2024, following the 6:30 AM sunrise
service. Thanks to Neil Maust for coordinating this!
Worship Assistants - Because of the considerable number of
services in March, if you are unable to assist at your
assigned service, please attempt to and a replacement and
let the officce know as soon as possible. Thank you!
If you are interested in attending Sight and Sound,
“Daniel”, please call the church office and let us know. The
cost of youth tickets will be covered by the youth account. The
last several trips were enjoyed by all who attended
The Jolly Quilters and Knotty Knotters meet each Tuesday at 9:00 AM in the church basement. New quilters and knotters are always welcome!
Adult Bell Choir
Weekly practices are at 6:30 PM on Wednesdays during Lent the next one is the March 27th
Senior Choir
The next rehearsal is March 28th at 6PM for Easter Sunday.
Altar and Chancel Flowers
Suzanne Walker and Villa Leslie are busy working on the Altar and Chancel Flower calendar for 2024. At this time we do not expect an increase in the cost of either the altar or chance flowers.
There may be some openings for flowers during the year, so please check the calendar when it is posted if you would like to purchase flowers for any available weekends.
We are also in need of two (one for each month) volunteers to distribute altar and chancel flowers for the months of August and September 2024. This involves delivery of flowers if the sponsor of the flowers does not wish to keep them. Please call Suzanne Walker or the church office if you can help.
Please Help the Knotty Knotters
You may notice the large number of unfinished covers that are now stored at the back of the church. The Knotty Knotters are giving it their best to get these covers completed and into the hands of those who need them. We need help! If you are able to poke a needle through fabric and tie a knot, you can do it! You can come as often as you are able. Every little bit helps.
